This study aims to develop a stable hydrogel formula suitable for loading commercialized propolis (for better-standardized quality). This propolis hydrogel will then be tested for its properties including skin irritation potential, drug release, and its antibacterial capability. The expected result is to successfully develop a propolis hydrogel formulation at a concentration where the hydrogel has strong antibacterial properties without causing any irritation reaction.
