This study recovered 14 bacterium types from Vietnamese climbing perch in some fish farms in Ho Chi Minh City. At a concentration of 105 CFU/ml, three groups of bacteria, IV, IX, and XIV, were evaluated for virulence, and all three groups of bacteria were very virulent, with a fatal rate more than 90%. Each of the three families of harmful microorganisms had distinct clinical presentations. When comparing the 16S rRNA gene sequences of three bacterial strains, in sudy found 99.77 % similarity with P. aeruginosa, 100% with K. sacchari, and 99.44% with E. ictaluri. The genetic relationship of the analyzed bacterial strains with reference strains on Genbank-NCBI data was determined using phylogenetic trees and genetic sequence comparisons.
