dc.description.abstract	This study investigated the outpatient use of corticosteroids at the 7A Military Hospital, analyzing 385 prescriptions in Q3/2022. Prednisolone was most frequently prescribed, primarily for upper respiratory infections, often used short-term (5–7 days) at 10–19 mg/day, taken once daily in the morning. Drug interactions were present in 22.1% of cases but were generally manageable. Most prescriptions (97.9%) were deemed appropriate, with no significant differences by age or gender. The findings help guide safer and more rational corticosteroid use in clinical practice.
