The research aims to analyze the importance and the necessity of productivity and quality training in universities to increase highly qualified human resources in Viet Nam. This research surveyed 1,682 students and 368 lecturers in the specialized fields and majors and training programs related to the field of productivity. The result shows that the level of interest of lecturers and students in productivity and quality training programs is significantly high. Therefore, productivity and quality training programs at universities are necessary and significantly impact the success of the mission of expanding knowledge of productivity and quality at Viet Nam's universities in 2020-2030.
